Fluid Dynamics and Out Of Context present Love Sucks 2013, in celebration of Valentine's Day and Caltech's unique social environment. Also performing are a selection of SoCal groups including USC Khoir Practice, UCLA Awaken, The Beat, Cadenza, Vocal Percussion Radio, USC Overflow, and Deviant Voices. Fluid Dynamics will make an undeadly awesome appearance with VPR at Acapocalypse 2012. The concert will start at 6pm on December 1, 2012, and be held at the Northridge Center in the USU at CSU Northridge. :)

It’s that time of year again when new faces grace the Caltech grounds. To the Prefrosh, welcome! To everyone else, welcome back!
As we start the new year, FD is looking for new voices to join our ranks. If you like to sing, rock out to a rhythm, beat box, play the air guitar, or just like music for the sake of music, come sign up for an audition!
Auditions will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings between 9 pm and 12 pm.

Depending on the type of performing group that you are in, you may have a strict dress code for performances. For guys, you can't wear a bright orange under-shirt with a dress shirt, even if you're wearing a sport coat. Women, flashy undergarments, or a bustier that is visible outside of the fabric of your dress might not be appropriate either. Make sure you talk to your dance group about proper under-attire for performances.
Online networking sites can be a great way for students to find career opportunities for when they graduate. Communities like Bluesteps, Monster and Linkedin all provide ways for businesses and potential employees to search for each other. Just another way the internet is an innovation in our lives.
And to watch other concerts, shows, programs or movies on your laptop, look into IPTV. Some services, like dish promotions have great options for students. Watching tv over the internet can be a bit more convenient for some people.
Many student A Capella groups get the chance to travel abroad during spring or summer break. If you find yourself in the Netherlands performing for a long period of time, look into short term rentals online. Some of the best Amsterdam vacation rentals are just a click away.
