Absolut Success!
Caltech’s Fluid Dynamics competed yesterday at Absolut, a festival hosted by the USC Sirens, and took third place! On top of that, our senior Tim Kwa (or, as they said, “that crazy guy from FD”) was honored with best vocal percussion for the evening!
These are the first real awards we’ve won, so we’re really excited and can’t wait ‘till we get to sing for all of you again!

Hey, folks! Fluid Dynamics has been working hard preparing for Absolut A Cappella, a huge festival hosted by the USC Sirens!
Other competitors this year include the SoCal VoCals, Reverse Osmosis, Trojan Men, Acasola, Kosher Pig, and These Guys, so it’s going to be a fantastic show. It’s at 7:30 PM in Bovard Auditorium; come give us your support!

Love Sucks! A Festival of Rock and Bitterness!
Ah, Valentine’s Day. That time of year when we’re all expected to have plans for a romantic evening, and showers of chocolates, and flowers in hand.
Finding yourself bitter around this time of the year? Come celebrate with Caltech’s a cappella groups, Fluid Dynamics and Out of Context, at the eleventh annual “Love Sucks” festival!
The show’s at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 10th, in Dabney Lounge.
Every year, we invite groups from all around southern California to join us in celebrating bitterness and rejection. We’ve got some FANTASTIC and many-award-winning groups performing for you this year:

Auditions are over, and Fluid Dynamics are happy to announce that we’ve got five new members:
